Allan Stone Projects exhibits Neuman Pentaptych

A painting by Robert S. Neuman is featured in the upcoming group exhibition called "I Can See For Miles" at Allan Stone Projects, New York. The exhibition runs from June 23rd through August 12th.

The exhibition features artists that reference the landscape, spanning a range of over 50 years. The exhibited works will range in style from photorealism to gestural abstraction, pushing the limits of a traditionally representational genre.

The works on view differ in style, medium, and era, illuminating different approaches taken by these artists. The works do not seek to merely describe a location, but to capture the overall energy specific to a place or moment in time. The realistic works illustrate the artist's mastery of technique, while the purely abstract works communicate a subjective experience associated with that place.

Artists included in the exhibition are Robert Baribeau, Robert Bauer, William Beckman, James Bohary, Edward Smith Leslie, Robert S. Neuman, Richard Sheehan, Wayne Thiebaud, and Robert Valdes.
